Based in Moscow but inspired by Buryatia, Kalmykia and Tuva, they draw inspiration from the ancient Buddhist culture of some of Russia’s farthest-flung regions to show a side to the country’s culture that “people in the west know so little about”. Their socks come in white and have Tibetan Buddhist scripture along the foot of the sock in red and traditional symbols of ignorance the ankle of the sock in black and red.
